Three Steps To Get A Motorcycle Licence

Thursday, 15 November 2018

Motorcycles/ motorbikes are a convenient mode for moving around traffic congested cities. Riding a motorbike requires good coordination between hands and ability to balance oneself. Another important requirement for riding a motorbike in and around city is a motorcycle licence. It would help to keep the cops away from you.

motorbike licence is provided through Graduated Licence Scheme which involves three stages of test.

1. Pre-learner rider course: It is a course which is conducted for 2 days, each session lasting for three and half hours. Helmets, gloves and motorbikes are provided at the center. You should wear a proper gear while attending the course. At the end of the course, the trainer will declare if you have passed or failed the course.

2. After clearing the course test, you need to clear the ‘rider knowledge test’, and an eye test. After you cleared both these tests, you have to pay fees for license. The service center provides a Learning License which would be valid only for three months.

3. The next stage of the license is clearing a pre-provisional training course and a Motor cycle operation skill test. After clearing these tests, you will get a competence certificate. If this certificate is submitted at the service centre, you will be given a F1 license. You will need at least twelve months experience before you are given a F2 license.
